안녕하세요. Well, it seems to be working here, but I can’t seem to get it working on my site either and I just upgraded to 2.9.1. My site is brawnblog.com/current/ I’ve uninstalled it. Re-installed it.

Hi, Tim! Thanks for the plugins!
But.. it doesn’t work on me. It seems that I have the same problem with zizzy. Here’s the detail of the environment I tried to set this plugin up:
- Wordpress: 2.8;
- Mac OS X 10.5.8
- Safari 4.0.3
And yeah, I’ve tried to type not in WYSIWYG textbox, but in HTML textbox; but it’s just the same. I still keep getting those ???? ?? ?? ??.
I’m getting desperate here. So, can you help me solving this problem?
I’ll be very glad to hear your reply. Thanks before.

@myko
Can you tell me little more than just “It doesn’t work.”? It’s impossible to help you with just that single statement.

/Gary
Thank you Gary! ^^;;
Let me know if you have any problems.
I’m trying to add a feature where you can configure some of the stuff such as IME status message, or toggle button.
Hopefully, I’ll get around to it.

It works! Only took me a minute to get it all set up. Easiest time I have had yet in installing a plugin.

Is your Wordpress site online? If it is, can you tell me url for it? So I can take a look at exactly what the problem is.

zizzy said,

arrrrgh. this is so painful. so i have a wordpress 2.0.5 and IME doesn’t work! but then again, i see that you are using wordpress on your blog,, what could be so different?

Timothy Kim said,

I just realized that it doesn’t work if you have those fancy WYSIWYG textbox. Maybe that’s the problem. Do you have the URL of the wordpress site that you are testing this on?

zizzy said,

I tested it on Mac OS X & windows xp. My wordpress version is 2.0.3. If I try to do it on akim’s posting site, it works like a charm. I believe I uploaded the plug-in just fine.. oh! and it works here too!!!! 흠… i have no idea. maybe my wordpress????

Timothy Kim said,

Hmm…
Can you exactly describe the environment that you are testing this in?
Like, the wordpress version or browser you are using.
Only testing environment that I used was my own page. And it works nicely on IE, and Firefox. Both on Windows machine and Linux machine.
I don’t have a Mac OS X, so it might be kinda hard to debug that.
But still, let me know about the environment that you tried to set this up.

it doesn’t seem to work on mac os x on wordpress.
it does work with ahim.js seperately on any other pages.
but not on wordpress…
any ideas??
